How to add characters/stages..

This may seem unnecessary for M.U.G.E.N. vetarans(I guess sorta like me, been using M.U.G.E.N. since 2008)

But there are people who are discovering M.U.G.E.N. and not knowing how the hell to add characters and stages..

Easy.

When you download M.U.G.E.N., you have a couple of folders..

Chars-Area for characters
Data- main place for the stuff that makes the game work
Font-for fonts
Plug-ins- stuff that makes the music play.
Sound-area for the music tracks for the stages/main menu, etc..
Stages-Self-explantory

Now instead of being lazy and posting a YouTube video,

I'm going to explain it to you..

1.Download the character, un-zip it(Use WinRar, it comes in handy, especially for .rar and .ace files)
2.Place the character's folder in your "chars" folder
3.After that, go into your "data" folder and find "select.def"
4.Open "select.def" in Notepad and find something that says

kfm,stages/kfm.def
kfm,stages/kfm.def
kfm,stages/kfm.def

replace one of those with your character name.

For Example wrote:
kfm,stages/kfm.def
MvC2_Ryu
blank

With stages it's the same thing only except..
1.Download the stage you want,un-zip it(again, use WinRar)
2.Extract the stage into your "stages" folder
3.You may find something like
e.g.- "stagemusic.mp3"
Place it in your "sound" folder.
4.Go into select.def(in your data folder) and find something like

stages/kfm.def
stages/stage0.def

and add it.

For Example wrote:
stages/kfm.def
stages/stage0.def
stages/PeachCastle.def

and that's it for adding characters/stages.
