Best anti-virus?

I use Windows Vista and I'm wondering, what is the best anti-virus to use?

I've used Regcure,Mcaffe,Norton and such in the past..

I use AVG and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and they work just fine...

Don't exactly use Norton, even though it's an effective system that picks up some threats before they even reach you, AVG can do that too and use up less RAM.

Anti-Malware cleans out viruses and such..

The best part is that AVG and Anti-Malware do not give a "nag message",plus no trial crap, which means you can use it for as long as you want.

AVG is good, It's been recommended by two different computer people. By my aunt's friend and my college professor.
